I have been doing a ton of research on weddings lately as it is my first year shooting weddings. I have read a ton of books, went to workshops, watched videos and I still want to know more and more.
Everyone has a view on how a wedding should be photographed. There are so many people that have different views on what is most important. I find it fascinating listening to people talk about the things that are their must haves on their wedding day. The one thing that is always the same is that they want the connection they have with one another to be captured and that is my favourite part of the whole thing. The moment when it’s just the bride and the groom, gazing into each others eyes and having them remember the reason why they spent all of that time planning for this day.
